Four complete fictional dossiers map distinct ways of preserving identity while reconsidering how a classic car could be used now.

The archive is an editorial portfolio study. It contains no manufactured provenance, completed vehicles or claims of workshop delivery.

Archive position

The base car sets the terms.

Each direction begins with a different relationship between preservation, engineering and use. The intervention changes; the obligation to keep the vehicle legible does not.

Four forms of intervention

These categories describe the governing brief, not packages or fixed levels of work.

  1. Performance restomod

    Road response and driver communication are sharpened without replacing the base car with racing theatre.

  2. Factory-correct restoration

    Known proportion and material language guide the work without inventing provenance or simulating age.

  3. Grand touring upgrade

    Comfort, dependable travel and active driving are developed beneath an elegant existing profile.

  4. Bespoke expedition commission

    Utility, service access and variable-load behaviour determine every proposed addition.
